Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds.
Discounts for out of season and long term lets, please contact owner.
Booking deposit (£300) due on reservation. Security deposit (£300) due 1
week before arrival.
Balance of rental due 8 weeks before arrival. Failure to meet these
timescales could result in the re-letting of your holiday period.
Changeover day
Saturday change over day, leave by 11am. Available late afternoon but
flexible, if earlier required. Flexible for out of high season or longer
period bookings.

30 mins to several golf courses some overlooking the
Atlantic sea for jaw dropping views with good restaurant. Easy to book and
play even with children (as long as they are already players).

Driving time to the gite. La Rochelle Airport,
35mins. Nantes and Poitiers approx
1 hour. St Malo 3 hours. Calais 6 hours.

Le Poire sur Velluire, 5 mins walk.
Velluire 10 mins walk,
5 min drive.
Fontenay Le Comte, 10 min drive.
Further details
Le Poire has chemist and co-op for essentials. Velluire has boulangerie,
post office, restaurant and bar tabac. Local signposted walks,
and cycle routes. Fishing in the Vendee river, permits from tabac in Velluire. Local
gastronomic restaurant in Velluire, with walks
along the river. Local villages have historic ruins and chateau to visit
and boat trips in the Marais Poitevin.
La Rochelle has sea fishing and boat trips
to Fort Boyard and Islands,
and many fine seafood restaurants.

The onwers of
the Gite, Mike and Ana are pleased to open their
lovingly restored farmhouse as a holiday gite in france,
now available as a holiday gite in the vendee, france. Good for relaxing holidays, sports holidays, or
simply to take time out with the family. This region of france
is the 2nd sunniest after the south coast, due to its
microclimate. During July and August
the southern vendee area is below the gulf stream and gets continental dry,
hot sunny summers, all the rainy western systems go over brittany!
You will find many seafood restaurants
near La Rochelle
and the vendee coastal towns, mussels and oysters are a local speciality. Please feel free to ask us for further
